Im going to have to add a further page which tells stories of the amputees and their struggles. In fact Sierra Leone Hastings deserves a whole website to itself.
The people there had so little yet so much, they were very innovative too making toys from tin cans and kites from plastic bags (shown on my BBC documentary)

Travel is something which excites me, you never know what to expect and there's great scope for picture taking. My trip to SL was such a trip inspiring me to set up a charity to help the amputees in Hastings SL (twinned with Hastings UK) to become self sufficient and regain dignity. On top of this Im going to help out those who suffer PTSD like myself, it's surprising how little help there is over here let alone Africa! We have a good selection of people willing to be trustees, but fundraising will always require as many volunteers as possible.

Baby in a bowl!
I did a second take when I saw this, the mother was braiding hair and the baby was asleep in one of those bowls that goes in your kitchen sink!
